Vanessa Cooreman Smith
Vanessa is the owner and lead designer of Flourish Interiors. Born and raised in South Bend, Indiana, she is passionate about bringing beauty and excellence to the regional area via interior design. She attended Saint Mary’s College and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in art. In 2016, she founded Flourish Interiors, which has quickly become known as the premier design choice for luxury home owners, builders, realtors, and investors in Indiana and SW Michigan.
Vanessa’s work has been featured and recognized by The South Bend Regional Chamber of Commerce (Winner of the prestigious 40 Under 40 Award), The Home Builders’ Association of St. Joseph Valley (Winner of Best Kitchen, Winner of Best Bathroom), RESA (Real Estate Staging Association), and by numerous industry elites such as Hunter Douglas, Gabby Home, Modern History, Regina Andrew, Frontgate, Pottery Barn, Rowe,Woodland Cabinetry, & many more.
Outside of work at Flourish, you can usually find her with her family: she and her husband Steve have four children. They love spending time in their hometown of South Bend, relaxing along the shores of Lake Michigan in New Buffalo, and traveling abroad (especially to Paris, France).

Heaven Miller
Project Coordinator & Interior Designer
Heaven is the Project Coordinator as well as an experienced Interior Designer. She has worked at Flourish Interiors since 2020. As Project Coordinator, she is at the forefront of cultivating our client relationships and ensuring excellence throughout our processes. She oversees projects at the macro level from onboarding and design development to product procurement and budgeting. She graduated with a degree in Interior Design from Indiana University and has a background in the furniture industry.
Outside of work, she is a wife to her high school sweetheart, Kyle. She is also a mom to her son Emerson, and her Pembrooke Welsh Corgi, Cora. She enjoys travel, architecture, baking, and reading.

Cortney Bruot
Installation Manager
Cortney has worked at Flourish Interiors since 2018, with a specialization on site installation and styling. As Installation Manager, she oversees both custom project installs and staging. She manages our Installation Team and is responsible for the on site schedule. Cortney is certified as a member of RESA, the Real Estate Staging Association. She likes to say that she is passionate about “turning a mess into a masterpiece”.
When she is not at Flourish, you can usually find her with her family including her two beautiful children and her fur baby Maizey. She also enjoys entertaining, organizing, and being with loved ones. Fun fact: her last name, Bruot, is pronounced Bree-o!

Tess Matthys
Human Resources & Office Manager
Tess is the Human Resource & Office Manager at Flourish. While she may not be designing for clients directly, her talents help create a strong organizational foundation for our team that in turn lead to our beautiful body of work. Her background in hospitality, client services, admissions and event management all help her administer with excellence. She is also passionate about fostering a caring work environment for our team.
When she’s not in office, Tess enjoys spending time with her husband Dom, exploring nature, cooking, singing, long conversations with friends, quality time with family and friends, and even the occasional kitchen dance party.

Katie Stutsman
Designer & Project Manager
Katie is a talented designer and project manager at Flourish Interiors. She has been working at Flourish since 2021 and is also our in house kitchen and bath cabinet specialist. Katie’s Degree in interior design with a focus on kitchen and bath planning allows our team to design highly customized spaces for your new construction or remodel. As a project manager, she works with a variety of vendors and contractors to bring the project to life and keeps everything running smoothly.
Outside of work, Katie along with her husband, Garrett are parents to two dogs, Molly and Peggy. She enjoys landscaping and gardening, and also loves to go camping, hiking, and kayaking. She can often be found reading a book or baking in the kitchen.

Olivia Conley
Associate Designer & Brand Strategist
Olivia is an Associate Designer at Flourish. She works hand and hand with clients from the first walkthrough to every design meeting including presentations, proposal, materials, renderings and the final install date. Olivia graduated from Central Michigan University with a degree in Interior Design, with a minor of Event Management and a focus on space planning. She is also our Flourish Brand Strategist and is essential in the coordination of our portfolio photoshoots and social media content.
When she designs, Olivia loves using materials that we have seen through the times, taking something traditional and turning into modern day glam, giving a timeless look to any home or space. She loves working with human emotions on how they are impacted with colors, space, height, dimension, natural & artificial light and much more.

Kayla Hartley
Associate Designer
Kayla is an Associate Designer at Flourish Interiors. Kayla has been with the company since 2022 works with our clients throughout the entire design process to make their visions come to life! Kayla studied Interior Design at Purdue University, and has experience in both furniture sales and design.
When she is not working she loves traveling with friends, spending time with her family and their 4 dogs, and enjoying new restaurants and breweries.

Megan Vogeler
Junior Designer
Megan is a Junior Designer at Flourish Interiors. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, with a focus in painting, as well as an Associates degree in Interior Design.
On a day-to-day basis she works with clients to design a space they love from floor plan layouts to sourcing finishes and furnishings, create mood boards and renderings to help clients visualize their new space, attending Project Consultations and more.
Megan is married to her husband Ryan, and has two cats. She loves visiting art museums, watching home renovation shows, arts and crafts, and anything creative.

Alli Smiley
Design Assistant
Alli is a Design Assistant at Flourish Interiors. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Indiana Wesleyan University. Alli assists Vanessa and the rest of the Flourish team with creating visualizations for client presentations including 3D renderings, Floor plans, Mood Boards, and slide shows. Alli also assists with Flourish Photoshoots, creating content for our social media pages, and helping the whole team Flourish.
Outside of work, She is a wife to David, and a mom to her son, Isaac Henry. Alli loves humor and jokes and can be counted on to always have something witty to say. She also enjoys expressing her creativity through beautiful hand calligraphy work.

Dany Morales
Installation Associate
Dany is an installation associate at Flourish Interiors and an integral part of the installation team. She helps on anything from staging for listings, to custom client installs. With 8 years of customer service experience, she decided to pursue her passions and transitioned into a career in interiors. She is inspired by design that steps outside of normal boundaries and enjoys creating spaces that a client will fall in love with and never want to leave. A space that not only serves as a function, but also as an inspiration to their lifestyle and self growth.
I was born in Mexico City, Mexico and raised in Goshen. I love to travel back to visit my family from time to time. I am a mom of a very active little boy, Mateo Alexander and a cuddly pug Sophie.

Jim Grolemund
Installer
James (or Jim) is one of our very talented installers at Flourish Interiors. Together, with the rest of the installation team, he helps cultivate the Flourish look by assembling and moving furniture for staged homes and our design client’s properties. Jim has a background in inventory and warehouse organization for a big box store which helps him keep track of all of the details of warehousing furniture.
Jim is married to wife Tabatha and has two sons, Christopher & Daniel and a daughter, Evangeline, as well as three grandchildren. Outside of work, Jim enjoys camping with his family, riding mountain bikes with his oldest son or daughter or working in his yard and garden.

Davor Tozan
Installer
Davor is an installer at Flourish Interiors. Davor has experience working with furniture, where he spent two years as a warehouse manager and 3 years as a furniture salesman. His days at Flourish consist of moving, installing, and repairing furniture. He is also responsible for special client requests and provides precision when executing our concierge services.
Davor is married to his wife Diane and has two daughters and two dogs. He is a huge sports fanatic and loves to cook up some delicious BBQ. Davor was born in Bosnia, and moved to the United States with his family when he was 8 years old.

Johnny Flores
Warehouse & Inventory Associate
Johnny is the Warehouse and Inventory Associate for Flourish Interiors. His background is in inventory quality assurance for the automotive industry. You can find him in the warehouse receiving orders for clients and making sure our installers are set up for success to get every job done by keeping everything organized. Johnny also helps the team by doing property maintenance and keeping track of the office supply stocking.
Johnny and his wife recently moved here from Gilbert, Arizona to be near family. They moved with their two dogs, Henry and Storm, and their daughter. Johnny loves being together with his family and being outside. He loves to play disc golf and is always searching for new courses. His family enjoys camping, hiking, biking, and exploring nature.
